The City of Newnan selected the design-build team of Headley Construction and HGOR to provide design and implementation services for a new pickleball facility, which today is known as the House of Pickleball (HOP).

With pickleball having become the fastest growing sport in the U.S., the City of Newnan sought to integrate a multi-functional facility to accommodate hundreds of players in Newnan and its surrounding areas.

The 15-court facility is centrally located adjacent to the Newnan Public Safety Complex, near C.J. Smith Park and the LINC. The project team engaged with the pickleball community in Coweta County to perfect the proposed location, pedestrian flow and conceptual site plans. Elements include LED lighting, a shade pavilion, restrooms and a concessions area.
