LakePoint Sporting Community + Town Center

HGOR was selected to achieve the Client’s vision of creating a premier athletic complex and national tournament destination. To achieve this intent, HGOR developed a heavily-themed design; one that establishes an unequivocal sense of place. The design incorporated athletically-styled elements directly into the landscape to evoke a playful and memorable atmosphere. The entirety of the LakePoint Sporting Community and Town Center is encompassed by commercial, retail and mixed- use development. The facility’s core offers sixteen artificial turf baseball fields, fourteen artificial turf soccer/ lacrosse fields and a 100,000 SF indoor volleyball and basketball facility. Completed in 2013, LakePoint Sports Complex is now home to The Perfect Game, a nationally recognized scouting service for high school and college athletes. HGOR provided landscape, hardscape and field design for the mega facility. Field design included drainage, grading and layout of the baseball, soccer, lacrosse and softball fields.
